The Biohof Feurstein is located in the district Höfle. Mountain cheese, ham, sausage and meat as well as organic products from our own production. Our farm can be visited (in winter) at any time. Walserbus line 1 - stop Mittelberg, change to bus line 4.
Agriculture in the Alpine Region
Our organic farm is situated at 1,200m in the midst of the Kleinwalsertal. This creates the conditions for producing high-quality natural products from the raw materials that nature provides us. Our animals spend the summer on their own alpine pasture in the Gemsteltal, where they find a rich supply of feed with mountain herbs and roughage plants. In winter, they are fed with self-harvested mountain hay at the farm. At “Feurstein’s Organic Farm,” besides cows, there are also horses, goats, pigs, chickens, and our Bernese Mountain Dog “Berry.” We operate on the principle of direct marketing. Production - Farm Shop - Farm Cheese Dairy - On-Farm Butchery - Alpe Gemstel.
