Unique images, exciting and interesting stories - Sport & Fashion Kessler is celebrating its 10th anniversary in a “new look” together with the Karl Max Kessler Archive as well as an exhibition and a lecture on 128 years of ski history in the Kleinwalsertal.

1896 was a milestone for the Kleinwalsertal: Karl Max Kessler, one of the ski pioneers from the Kleinwalsertal, built the first skis and thus gave the starting signal for a development that continues to shape the valley and tourism today: skiing Kleinwalsertal.

On December 3, 2024, the Karl Max Kessler Archive will present a photo exhibition and a breathtaking digital presentation that impressively illuminates the development of skiing in Kleinwalsertal. From 5 p.m. you can go out into the world at Sport & Mode Kessler, which is now celebrating its 10th anniversary in a “new look”. of current skiing and fashion as well as the beginnings and development of the first skis, ski tours, the first lifts and rescue operations in the Kleinwalsertal.

Mathias Kessler, himself a photographer and artist, will also take you on a lecture Exciting journey through the decades and thus through the impressive collection of the archive, which is based primarily on photographs by his grandfather Karl Max Kessler.
