Snowshoe tour: Unterm Grünhorn

Every Friday from December 20th, 2024 to April 18th, 2025

We start our snowshoe tour in the mountain village of Baad, the smallest and highest village in the Kleinwalsertal. First we go past the Lüchlealp, up to the Innere Stierhofalpe and on to the Starzelalpe (all unmanaged in winter). During a long break, everyone can enjoy the snack they brought with them while we marvel at the panorama. Descent via the Dura Valley back to Baad.

Meeting point: 9:30 a.m. Baad bus stop
Duration: approx. 5 hours - expected return around 2.30 p.m
Price: € 80 including snowshoes and poles; LVS device, shovel, probe - if necessary
Condition: Sure-footedness, fitness for climbs between 500 and 700 m and walking times of up to 6 hours;
Equipment: Sturdy, ankle-high shoes (mountain boots) or hiking boots, winter clothing and a backpack with some provisions. Snowshoes and poles as well as an avalanche transceiver are provided.
