Varied, alpine round tour for the experienced on one of the most famous Walser peaks.

Description

Its sloping plateau, the steep rock walls and karst Gottesackerplateau make the Ifen is an unmistakable feature of the Kleinwalsertal mountain arena. On varied paths the round trip leads hikers from Schwarzwassertal to the summit plateau. However, the scree, the steep ascent to the Ifenplateau and the long descent through Ifersgunt, Blackwater Cottage and Melköde require good physical condition, sure-footedness and being free from giddiness; Otherwise, for good hikers a very pleasant hike.
