Nature Diversity Days Kleinwalsertal 2024

Excursion: Moor researchers at work

We accompany Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Schrautzer to the moor on the Hörnle Pass. There we immerse ourselves in his research work: How have the moors developed since the last ice age? How much water does a moor need? The moor researcher shows us how to analyze a deep borehole and explains what we can do to preserve moors.
